- Safety
- Proper Stance (En Garde)
- Footwork
- Lunges
- Attacks
- Parries
- Rules of Competitive Fencing

The equipment rental covers providing a mask, foil, jacket and glove during class.
Students should wear loose fitting clothes, including sweat pants (not shorts),
tennis shoes and an eyeglass strap if wearing glasses.
Intermediate instruction is available from the Cincinnati Fencing Club after completing
the Beginning class. Group and private lessons from Master Ed Wright are also
available.
Classes last from 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Students who have progressed to the third lesson can expect to spend at least a half-hour of the class fencing with the instructors and other students.
